November's Scrapbook Saturday

Saturday, November 20th is the day I will be having my scrapbook Saturday. This will be a good day to work on Christmas cards! If you have something to do, & want company to do it, come on by & join me!

Scrapbook Layouts done on the September Scrapbook Saturday

For Hunter's 2nd year in Baseball, I used the same book: Reflections, Bottom Border_Diagonal Accent & companion layout to go with it.

I decided that I would just copy the boy's layouts of their 1st & 2nd years & so on, so that I wouldn't have to come up with a different layout for each kid, each year (I don't have that much time to come up with that!) Anyway, for Both Hunter & Chase's 1st year playing baseball I used this layout. I LOVE, LOVE Close To My Hearts "How To" books! These ones I used the Reflections book, & used the Main Frame-Quarter Circle page & a coordinating companion layout to go with it. I just changed them around to go with the colors of their uniforms, so they are the same, but different!

I wanted to post the finished layouts that I finally finished on my September's Scrapbook Saturday. This one in the red & gray, is one I finished a long time ago, but wanted to show how two of the same layouts in different colors can be amazing! Enjoy!

October's Scrapbook Saturday

Time flew by so quickly, that I forgot all about this months scrapbook Saturday! I have been on the computer all day updating blogs, & websites, & when I was updating my calendar in one of the websites, I realized that tomorrow is my scrapbook Saturday! Yay! That's a happy thought, cuz I sure could use it! So, if you want to join me in this months scrapbook Saturday, leave the kids & hubby home & come on by & bring your scrapbooking or crafting supplies & lets get something done!

September's Scrapbook Saturday.

So I had to miss July's because my oldest son got baptized that day, & I was looking forward for August's which was planned up till that week, when we ended up having a yard sale at my place for my Mother-in-law. The yard sale didn't finish up till after 3 or 4 (it was so crazy, I can't remember!) Anyway, we were so tired from that crazy week, that I just crashed! So missed, August's Saturday too. September's is planned, & it is going to happen! (it has to, or I might go a little nuts from not having a day off!)

So plan on Saturday, September 25th from noon to midnight to catch up on your crafting with us!

No Scrapbook Saturday for July.

I was really hoping for a good day off this month, but it's not going to happen. This Saturday is the 24th holiday, so that is out, & next Saturday, we are baptising my oldest! Hunter turned 8 on the 14th, & he is excited to be bapized! So July is off & for sure looking forward to a day of Scrapbooking in August!

June's Scrapbook Saturday

Now this is a Scrapbook Saturday I have really been looking forward too. The first scrapbook Saturday since school got out & boy is this one needed more than ever! :) I love my kids, but it is time for a day off from being mom!

May's Scrapbook Saturday

The end of May is approaching fast, & kids are already getting out of school for the summer. I just watched my 3 year old graduate from his first year of preschool. My 6 year old will graduate Kindergarten tomorrow, & next week Hunter will be done with 2nd grade. Where does the time go?

This months scrapbook Saturday is much needed (aren't they all?) I had to reschedule this months because the last Saturday lands on Memorial Weekend, & I am hoping my hubby will have something fun planned for all of us.

So if you want to come out & join us for a day of scrapbooking (or whatever you need to catch up on) bring your supplies & come on over. It's a NO hubby, NO Kids, NO WORRIES day.

April's Scrapbook Saturday

A much needed Scrapbook Saturday is here, on this fine day of April 24th. I will be scrapbooking today & any of you are welcome to bring your supplies with you & join me.

Although I will be cutting it short today. Instead of my usual noon to midnight hours, I will be going from noon to 6 PM.

My Niece is trying out for Miss Genola tonight, & I am going to go watch, & support her.
So wish her luck!

Scrapbook Saturday - March 27th

Tomorrow is the day... A day off...from my kids... whew, I sure could use that!
So I am looking forward to doing some catching up on scrapbooking & if any of you want to join me, come on by anytime between noon to midnight! Can't wait...

Getting Something Done, 1 layout at a time...

Just wanted to show off some of the layouts I have been able to get done on my Scrapbook Saturdays! The picture above is from my boy's Transformer Movie Party for when the 2nd Transformers came out, they were so excited, we had to make a party out of it! The problem with Transformers, no matter how popular the movies are, it's impossible to find ANY Transformer scrapbook paper out there! So next best thing...Transformer Stickers! I scrapbooked 2- 12x12 page layouts each for Hunter, Chase, & Colton's books. I used Close To My Heart cardstock, & the Brilliant silver pigment ink for sponging the edges of the paper. I just need to finish them up with the Journaling, & I need to find a bigger "Transformer" logo for the title yet.

I finally got my Moose Hunt pictures scrapbooked! Found this real cute moose B&T paper at Roberts & had to have it for my Moose hunt! The rest of the cardstock, Dimensional Elements letters, stickers, & embellishments are from CTMH.

Looking forward to end of March (the 27th) to get a whole lot more scrapbooking done!

February Scrapbook Saturday.

Today is my February Scrapbook Saturday! A week earlier than usual, because next week the 27th is my son, Chase's 6th birthday! So it is today, & I would love to have some company if any of you want to join me scrapbooking, or if you just need to get away then come on by & hang out with us!

January's Scrapbook Saturday.

It has been too long since my last scrapbook Saturday, & I am looking forward to a day locked in my craft room! I had it scheduled for the last Saturday of the month, but looks like I have to reschedule that for the 2nd to last Saturday this month. My poor Hubby is going in on the 28th to have surgery on both his knees, so I will have to take the 23rd off for the Scrapbook Saturday instead of the 30th. Which is great, cuz it means I will be getting this day off sooner rather than later! So I hope you can join us for some good time off just scrapbooking with Friends! Saturday, January 23rd from Noon to Midnight.
